Ash Wednesday Service
Join us for a contemplative Ash Wednesday Service, marking the beginning of Lent on February 18th. This will be a family-friendly and self-guided practice with interactive stations designed to lead you in reflecting on the life, death, and hopeful resurrection of Jesus. The final station will offer the imposition of ashes, a reminder of our mortality and need for resurrection.
Spring Work Day 2026
Join us for our Spring Workday on March 28 as we come together to maintain and beautify our building and grounds. There will be a variety of tasks for all skill levels, from gardening and landscaping to minor repairs and cleaning. This is a great opportunity to serve alongside others and make our church home even more welcoming for everyone.
Easter Egg Hunt (Palm Sunday)
Join us for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 29th, immediately after church! This event is open to all kids 5th grade and younger and features two designated areas for hunting: one for elementary students (K–5th grade) and one for younger children (Preschool & under).
Maundy Thursday Service
Maundy Thursday marks the beginning of the most sacred time of the Christian year, commemorating the night Jesus shared his final meal with his disciples, known as the Last Supper. The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin “mandatum,” meaning “commandment,” reflecting Jesus’ command to love one another as He has loved us.
Good Friday Service
Good Friday is a special service during Holy Week that invites the Church to gather together to mourn the death of Jesus.
Ordinary Time Roundtable
Our Ordinary Time Roundtable is this Sunday, November 16th from 4-6pm. If you are examining your beliefs, traditions or practices, this Ordinary Time Roundtable is a time to bring your questions and open mind to connect with others who are challenging and deconstructing long held paradigms. Childcare will be provided. No registration is necessary.
Fall Work Day
Come join us for our all-church fall workday! We'll tackle building and grounds projects together, enjoying a time of shared purpose and accomplishment. Lunch will be provided as a way of appreciating everyone's contributions. It's a great opportunity to work alongside one another and care for the space we all share. A list of specific projects will be made available soon.

Easter Sunday
Join us to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Easter Sunday begins the Season of Eastertide. This special holiday asks the people of God to gather and contemplate the mystery of Christ’s resurrection. This is a family service, therefore it will be shorter than normal and there will be no childcare available. We can’t wait to be together for this special holiday.

Club 56: Movie Night
Get ready to laugh and be entertained as we screen the hilarious and heartwarming classic, "Elf." This event is exclusively for 5th and 6th graders, and it's the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with your friends.
All Church Fall Work Day
Come out on Saturday morning for some good. "clean." fun. We are looking for anyone and everyone who is willing to rake leaves, trim shrubs, pulls weeds, swing a hammer, help clean and organize storage rooms, or maybe do more complex projects like a few building projects. Youth Group Halloween Party
The 7th - 12th graders at Redemption Church are invited to join us for a spooky youth group night. We will have games, prizes, 9 square, pizza, black lights, and smoke machines. You've never seen anything as scary as this night.
All Church BBQ
Redemption Church’s annual church BBQ is Saturday, October 14th at 5:30pm! It will be a night of fun for the whole family with a bounce house, 9-Square, and corn hole! We’ll provide the bbq meats and beans, cole slaw, cheesy potatoes and drinks.
Church Picnic and Baptism
Join Redemption Church for our annual baptism and picnic. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact Beth Price at beth@redemptionchurchkc.com. We would love to discuss the meaning and importance of this sacrament.
Easter Egg Hunt
The easter egg hunt is back! Let’s gather together in the back yard and let our kids have a great time gathering easter eggs. There will be two zones (Preschool and Elementary) so that each age group will have a better experience hunting eggs. We will meet right after Church and start at noon.
Spring Work Day
It's that time again! Spring work day is here. We are looking to accomplish a lot of projects indoors and out. We have projects for families and more complex projects for more specific skills. You can sign up to help out all day or you can sign up to help with the outdoor morning shift 8am - 11am or the indoor afternoon shift 12pm - 3pm. We will have lunch available for everyone.
Club 56 Summer Party
Do you have a student going into 5th, 6th, or 7th grade in the fall? They are invited to join us for our annual Club 56 backyard bash. This event is to welcome our new club 56 students and to say goodbye to our graduating 6th graders.
Ridgeview Neighborhood Soccer Camp
Join us for our 8th annual neighborhood soccer camp. This event is always a great time with kids from our church and our neighborhood coming together to play and enjoy the summer weather. Our camp is not intended to prepare the next Messi or train the next Ronaldo, but instead, we think our kids want to have a safe space to play. Therefore, we seek to create a week of fun and games for our kids built around the world's sport of soccer.
Graduation Sunday

Join us at Redemption Church as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. This year at Redemption, we will be offering two service times to come worship together: 9:30 am, and 11:00 am.
Spring Work Day
You are invited to join Redemption Church as we freshen the grounds, repair a few things, change a few light bulbs, and fill in a few potholes! It'll be some good... not so clean... fun. As you register, please make sure you consider a few of the projects available and let us know what you would like to help out with.
Ash Wednesday
This is a self-guided time of prayer and meditation to mark the beginning of Lent. This is a perfect family prayer service.
