Join us for a special U18 rite of passage during our worship service on Sunday, August 11th.
Parenting is not easy. Parenting as Christians in a world where Christianity has made so many wrong turns is... almost impossible. As a staff and community we have talked a lot about deconstruction and reconstruction, but what about our children?
Hey Families!
The Ridgeview Summer Camp is here and we can't wait to be with your students. This camp is located in the Ridgeview neighborhood and will be for students going into Kindergarten - 5th grade. Every year, Redemption Church takes a week out of the summer and puts on a fun time with friends and neighbors! This year we will be doing more than just playing sports. We will be adding in art, games, inflatables, snacks, and even snow cones! The camp is completely free! Join us!
Please save the date for June 17th - 21st from 10am to 12pm.
Join us for a training event designed to communicate the oddness of Redemption Church. What makes our U18 ministries so strange? What is my role as a leader? How do we understand ministry to young people?
Join us after church on Palm Sunday, March 24th from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for an egg-cellent Easter Egg Hunt!
Promotion Sunday - August 6th is the final date that all of our students are promoted to their next grade. We have a small ceremony for our new Kindergarteners and 5th graders. Our graduated seniors are no longer permitted to attend Wednesday night youth group and Sunday morning youth activities.
Our annual parent information meeting is for any parent at Redemption Church who would like to know more about youth and children's ministry at Redemption Church. Here you will get an opportunity to ask questions and hear a presentation from our early childhood, elementary, and youth directors.
Have you volunteered in the Nursery, Toddler, Godly Play, Elementary, Club 56, or Youth areas over this past year? You are invited to a night of dinner and games. The leadership at Redemption Church wants to appreciate you! Please register and plan on having a great night.
Join us for our 9th annual neighborhood soccer camp. This event is always a great time with kids from our church and our neighborhood coming together to play and enjoy the summer weather. Our camp is not intended to prepare the next Messi or train the next Ronaldo, but instead, we think our kids want to have a safe space to play. Therefore, we seek to create a week of fun and games for our kids built around the world's sport of soccer.
The easter egg hunt is back! Let’s gather together in the back yard and let our kids have a great time gathering easter eggs. There will be two zones (Preschool and Elementary) so that each age group will have a better experience hunting eggs. We will meet right after Church and start at noon.
A Family Sunday at Redemption Church is a special Sunday that invites all of our children who are Kindergarten and older to stay in the main service with us for the Sermon. We do this because we believe that Family Sunday is integral to the spiritual formation of our children and congregation. There will be no classes for 12th Grade - Preschool. Toddler and Nursery rooms will still be open.

If you have a child who is about to be 3 and a half or a child going into Kindergarten at Redemption Church for the 2021-22 school year or are just interested in what we do in the preschool and elementary ministries, you are welcome to attend a meeting to discuss what these ministries at Redemption are and what they are not. You will find ways to connect, stay informed, and what our rhythms and symbols mean. Finally, you will learn how our preschool and elementary ministries connect to the larger body of Redemption Church and what you can expect as your child journey's through this time together toward Club 56.

Join Redemption Church for an outdoor Easter egg hunt after church. This will be a great chance to be together! There will be two areas marked off for our children. There will be a preschool area and an area for older children. Therefore when you register, please be mindful of which area you are registering for.
The Saints sermon series is an annual tradition in the month of November where we honor those who have lived and died in Christ. A saint is a person who is recognized as bearing the image of God to the Church. A saint is someone who has shown great fidelity to God and others through their life, and who has been a conduit of God’s reconciliation to the Church and the world. Who is your family Saint? Who would you want to remember during this season?
As you know, the suspension of our in-person services at Redemption Church has affected not only us as adults but also our children. We recognize that the children who are part of our congregation are equal members and should be brought into fellowship and communion with others just as much as we are. To that end, we regret that we have struggled to find effective ways to foster this. We are, however, excited to announce Redemption’s new plan for virtual (but live!) gatherings for our preschool and elementary children.
