Spring Break Memphis Trip 2024

The youth ministry of Redemption Church will be traveling to the great city of Memphis, TN, for an immersive journey into the heart of the Civil Rights Movement. We think it is essential for our students to not only see the history of the Civil Rights Movement, but also to discuss and wrestle with how the Church (and in particular black liberation theology) gave the movement its imaginative framework.

Youth Group Board Game Day

This year's all day gaming day will NOT be a video game. What does that mean? What will we be doing? We will be playing Board Games. This is an all day session of gaming and fun. We will have light party games, strategy games, games where we yell, games where we cry, games where we laugh for hours. Come join us for some fun and excitement.

Family Sunday

A Family Sunday at Redemption Church is a special Sunday that invites all of our children who are Kindergarten and older to stay in the main service with us for the Sermon. We do this because we believe that Family Sunday is integral to the spiritual formation of our children and congregation. There will be no classes for 12th Grade - Preschool. Toddler and Nursery rooms will still be open.

Youth Group Spring Break Trip (Memphis, TN)

The youth ministry of Redemption Church will be traveling to the great city of Memphis, TN, for an immersive journey into the heart of the Civil Rights Movement. We think it is essential for our students not only to see the history of the Civil Rights Movement but discuss why the Church (and in particular black liberation theology) was the fuel to the energies calling America to confess and repent of its greatest sin... and why/how that work continues.
