Las Posadas is Spanish for lodging, or accommodation, which in this case refers to the inn in the story of the nativity of Jesus. It uses the plural form as the celebration lasts for a nine-day interval (called the novena) during the Christmas season, but for us... we are going to only celebrate on December 19th.
Nerf Wars V. Our annual Nerf Wars event is back! We are excited to transform the entire church into a playground. Your student needs to bring with them a nerf gun and at least one nerf dart. We will be playing multiple nerf games all night long. Be at the church by 6:30pm and pick up at 8:30pm.
Do you have a student going into 5th, 6th, or 7th grade in the fall? They are invited to join us for our annual Club 56 backyard bash. This event is to welcome our new club 56 students, and to say goodbye to our graduating 6th graders.
Youth group is back. Join us at Oregon Trail Park for a back to school kickoff. Feel free to bring any yard games or sporting equipment you would like to play outside. We meet at the park at 6:30pm and you can pick up your student from the park at 8:30pm.

Come join us for our 5th annual neighborhood soccer camp. This event is always a great time with kids from our church and our neighborhood coming together to play and enjoy the summer weather. Our camp is not intended to prepare the next Messi or train the next Ronaldo, but instead we think our kids want to have a safe space to play. Therefore, we are seeking to create a week of fun and games for our kids built around the world's sport of soccer.
Come celebrate our graduating 6th graders as they enter into our Redemption youth ministry. June 10th, is when we celebrate our new 7th graders, and invite them to join all youth ministry related activities. For the past few years, we have tried to create a Camp Experience for high school kids that has meaning and impact. We spent the last year listening to parents, campers, and youth workers and combined it with our rich history of pulling off great summer camps to provide an even better experience. This year, we are offering a three-day experience specifically designed for students in grades 9-12.
July 30th at 5pm is our first annual golf scramble. We will be raising money for the 2017-2018 youth ministry year. We will be playing the Prairie Center Park Frisbee golf course. This event is for all ages, and is a great idea for a fun family outing!
Come join us for our 4th annual neighborhood soccer camp.
Youthfront Camp is perfect for elementary, middle, and high school age students! We are passionate about bringing youth into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, so we do camp in a way that allows authentic discovery and growth for each camper. We do this using three primary values:
If you have a student who is graduating from 6th grade and going into 7th grade then we invite you to let your student participate in our Club 56 graduation ceremony. After this special Sunday your new 7th grader is invited to join all 7th - 12th grade youth group activities during the summer, but if they would like to stay in Club 56 instead, that is ok too!
All students must graduate to their new grade on Promotion Sunday on August 20th.
The youth group of Redemption Church is going to be taking a trip to Memphis, TN from March 11 - 15. This is not a missions trip or a service trip. This will be an experience trip. We are crafting an experience that we hope will help them to discover the Mission of God in their life.
Our third annual MLK FIFA DAY is back on January 17th. Every year students in the youth group are invited to pick an international team on FIFA and come to the church to participate in the tournament. It is single elimination, but pizza will be served at lunch!
