Pentecost is the celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit… appearing like a sudden rush of wind, like tongues of fire, filling our hearts and binding us together. During this season we say, “Come, Holy Spirit.
Join us on Sunday, May 31, for our annual Church Picnic!
We’ll begin a little earlier than usual at 9:30 AM with a short service where we’ll celebrate those being baptized, share communion, and worship together. After the service, we’ll head to the backyard for a breakfast picnic and some relaxed fun as a church family.
One a month Redemption Church partners with Harvesters to host a mobile food distribution. There are two different volunteer opportunities. The first is a Check- In Volunteer, the second is a Distribution Volunteer. For more information over these roles, please see descriptions below.
Mark Your Calendars! Promotion Sunday - June 7th - During the worship service. Join us for a special U18 rite of passage during our worship service on Sunday, June 7th.
This event serves as the first youth group gathering for incoming 6th graders following Promotion Sunday. The evening is divided into two parts, transitioning from a standard youth group format to an exclusive late night event for middle school students.
God so often meets us in the places we cannot map and in the spirit of Pentecost, Redemption offers a place to question, connect and learn, it's called a Roundtable and we host one every season. Bring your questions, spiritual wonderings, and doubts to this conversation. All are welcome —no matter your background or experience. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or holding onto faith by a thread, the Spirit is moving and may be leading you to connect with others who are challenging and deconstructing. Redemption Church is excited to host our annual Ridgeview Neighborhood Art & Sports Camp this summer! This free community event provides a fun, creative, and active week for children in the Olathe area. Our goal is to offer a safe, welcoming environment where students can build relationships, explore their creativity, and stay active.
On Saturday, June 27, DNR featuring Tim Suttle takes the stage at Redemption Church for a special fundraiser concert benefiting the youth ministry program at Redemption Church.
