PARKING LOT FUNDRAISER
Our parking lot is more than just asphalt; it is the common ground we share for the communal life of Redemption Church and the Ridgeview neighborhood. After decades of service to ministries, Ridgeview Elementary, Harvesters, and two previous owners of our building, our parking lot is now in a condition far exceeding routine maintenance. We have discovered the full cost of this necessary restoration is significantly beyond initial estimates, approaching $120,000. That’s a big number for us. We are asking the community to do two things to avoid depleting our savings and setting back our plan for building maintenance and improvements. Please take some time to find out how you might participate in this fundraiser. Your generosity will help us restore this foundational element of our common life, allowing us to safeguard the resources that protect our staff and ministries for the long work of discipleship ahead.
One-Time Act of Generosity
The need to restore our parking lot is an unexpected burden requiring an immediate and substantial response. Having discovered the full scope of the project is approaching $120,000, we are asking you to prayerfully consider offering a one-time gift above your regular giving. This special offering will directly fund the essential, large-scale structural work of Phase One, allowing us to proceed with necessary repairs immediately without compromising the financial resources that protect our staff and core ministries. This total will be announced at the end of October.
Increasing Your Monthly Giving
The second part of this effort is focused on the long-term fidelity and stability of our community. To ensure we remain financially ready for the work ahead, we are asking you to commit to increasing your monthly offering for the next twelve months. This sustainable commitment will rebuild the operating reserves depleted by the restoration, allowing us to fund essential future maintenance and updates—like the flat roof, the bathrooms, and new carpeting—ensuring our facilities keep pace with the growing work of our ministries.
