this week's announcements

eden village fundraiser

Eden Village of KC aspires to be a small home community for the disabled and chronically homeless. They are holding their 2nd annual fundraiser this Thursday, May 18th from 5:30p-8:30p at Limitless Brewery in Lenexa (9500 Dice Lane). BBQ by our own Jim Schmidt includes bbq and a side for $13 or 2 dinners and 2 raffle tickets for $30. There will be live music by Double Take, a silent auction and the raffle. All proceeds will go directly to the tiny home community. Children are welcome.

eastertide roundtable

If you are examining your beliefs, traditions or practices, these Eastertide Roundtables are a time to bring your questions and open mind to connect with others who are challenging and deconstructing long held paradigms. The next roundtable is this Sunday, May 21st from 4:00-6:00pm. Childcare will be provided.

pentecost/membership sunday

As Eastertide comes to an end and we transition to ordinary time on the church calendar, we celebrate pentecost with our membership sunday. If you have been hanging out at Redemption Church and would like to become part of our Redemption family, you will have an opportunity to sign our membership book on Sunday, May 28th during communion.

neighborhood soccer camp

Join us for our 9th annual neighborhood soccer camp. This event is always a great time with kids from our church and our neighborhood coming together to play and enjoy the summer weather. Our camp is not intended to prepare the next Messi or train the next Ronaldo, but instead, we think our kids want to have a safe space to play. Therefore, we seek to create a week of fun and games for our kids built around the world's sport of soccer. June 19th - 23rd 10am - 12pm.

If you are interested in one of our garden plots this summer, please contact Justin Wills at
