Come join Redemption Church as we stream our Sunday morning worship service live on YouTube. The service will start at 10am. Below you will find instructions, recommendations, and things you need to do to be ready for our morning liturgy. We want to invite you to look through these instructions and invitations for our live stream so that you can be prepared to watch, participate, and worship along side the Church no matter where you are or what your context is.

Instructions to Watch

Instructions for watching on a computer or mobile.

Watching on a computer is the easiest way to participate in the worship service.

  1. (If you are watching on your phone or tablet, download the YouTube app. Don’t use the browser.)

  2. Click here for this Sunday’s live stream. (MOBILE: open in the Youtube App.)

  3. Click full screen on the youtube video to watch the service in full screen on your computer or mobile.

Instructions for watching on a computer or mobile with a chromecast.

Watching on a computer or mobile phone is the easiest way to participate in the worship service, but watching on a computer with a chromecast is better.

  1. Plug in the chromecast using the HDMI port on your TV.

  2. Set up the chromecast and connect it to your home wifi.

  3. Click here for this Sunday’s live stream.

  4. A chromecast button will show up on the bottom right of the youtube. Click that button and then choose your TV’s chromecast. Done.

Instructions for watching on an Apple TV, Roku, or Android TV

Watching on a smart TV box is probably the most comfortable way to watch the live stream.

  1. Grab your remote and open the youtube app on your box’s home screen.

  2. Search: “Redemption Church KC”

  3. You will probably see our logo and our church’s youtube page.

  4. Click our youtube page and hit subscribe.

  5. When we go live, you will be able to see the video on our youtube profile and you will be able to click it and watch it live.

Invitations for Worship

How to prepare

  1. It will be important for you to think about how your worship space is arranged.

  2. Come up with a plan and then, start a few minutes before 10:00am to prepare a place where everyone watching with you can sit comfortably. Hopefully there's a space where you could turn the lights down a little bit.

  3. You might want to light a candle and find a cross you can place before you.

  4. Think about your children. How might they be able to stay present in the space? Could we remove phones and laptops from the room? Do we need coloring books? Do we need food?

  5. IMPORTANT: You'll need to gather some bread and a cup of wine or juice for communion.

  6. Try and have everything assembled so that when we go live around 10am, you can be present with each other & able to engage fully as we gather remotely.
