christmas eve family service

Our Christmas Eve Service on December 24th is at 5:30pm.  This is a family service, and therefore, no childcare will be provided.  Because Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, there will be NO morning church service that day.

year-end gift

Our offering on Christmas Eve will go toward our year-end gift, which will fund our Compassion Ministry in 2018 and shared with Via de Esperanza.  If you write a check, please note in the memo line “Year-end gift”.  Online giving is also available on our website:  redemptionchurchkc.com.  All giving for 2017 must be received by December 31st.  

first impressions volunteers needed

Our First Impressions ministry is looking for volunteers on Sunday mornings for greeting, handing out bulletins, and collecting the offering.  If you would like to volunteer one Sunday a month, please contact Kate Woulfe at specialkatew@gmail.com.

strengthening families program to begin

The next session of Strengthening Families begins January 23rd on Tuesday evenings.  If you are interested in helping in any way (childcare, meal preparation,  or table host), contact Mandy at mandy@redemptionchurchkc.com. 
The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a prevention program for parents and children ages 5-16 in higher risk families. SFP consists of parenting skills, life skills, and family skills training courses taught together in fourteen 2-hour group sessions. The class is preceded by a meal which gives families a chance to eat and connect with each other and a "table host" or family from our church.
