All of our youth ministry milestones link together and find their culmination in the capstone milestone of Graduation Sunday. We hope your students not only learn what their faith is but also who they are and what God is bringing into the world through them.

Two ministries, two days. Middle school and high school each have their own track on a Sunday morning and again on a Wednesday night, so a 6th grader and a senior both get a room that fits them.
Middle schoolers stay in the service until after the blessing of the children, then have a class in the youth room, then return to the sanctuary for communion.

High school has a class before the service begins, and students are invited to attend the youth class during the sermon. They are also invited to serve somewhere throughout the church.

Six to eight parents who advise and assist the youth ministry through the year. They are the bridge between the youth ministry, the families in it, and the wider church ... which means the people supporting this ministry are parents of students in it.
Contact the Parent Council →Adults from this church who stay with the same group of students year after year. These adults are relational extensions of the pastoral work of our youth ministry. These adults are in it for the long haul with you and your student.
Seniors who want it are inducted into a year of helping Redemption Church run. They arrive early on Sunday to set up, tear down, and serve in our U18 classrooms. They also meet on Wednesdays and provide invaluable assistance and guidance to the youth ministry.

Cole brings more than fifteen years of pastoral experience across family, youth, and children’s ministry. He holds a Master’s in Theological Studies from Nazarene Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Family Ministry from Manhattan Christian College. He loves building community and thinking carefully about theology, philosophy, and the life of faith.
