this week's announcements

congregational need

We have an immediate need for a washer and dryer for a family in our congregation. If you have a set you no longer use or are planning to replace, and it’s in good working order, please contact Mandy Hill at mandy@redemptionchurchkc.com.

advent sacred space & contemplative prayer practices

Need to purposefully decrescendo? Beginning this Saturday, December 1, join us in contemplative practice sessions. Each Saturday at 9am, join us for a time of guided prayer and contemplative practice toward a quieter, more mindful Advent season. Contact Harold Berciunas at hberciunas@sbcglobal.net.

ladies’ christmas party

Our ladies’ Christmas gathering is this Sunday, December 2nd from 7-10 pm.  What to bring: an appetizer or dessert to share and a wrapped exchange gift of $10 or less.
We will be doing a gift exchange with a book theme.  Feel free to share a new book, a gently used book, a journal, a coloring book, etc.  Feel free to get creative with "accessorizing" as long as your gift is anchored with something that is bound.

men’s breakfast

Our next Men’s Breakfast is next Saturday, December 8th at 8:30am. A $3-5 donation is appreciated to help with food.

advent cookie collection

We will continue our tradition of collecting cookies for our neighbors for Advent again this year! Please bring a dozen homemade cookies to church on Sunday, December 16th. The staff will be packaging them and our youth group will make deliveries on that Wednesday as a part of their Christmas Party.

christmas eve service

Our Christmas Eve service is a family service and begins at 5:30pm. We will be collecting our special year-end gift which goes to supporting our Compassion Ministry.
