year-end gift

Our year-end gift will fund our Compassion Ministry in 2018 and be shared with Via de Esperanza.  Please indicate “Year-end gift” in the memo line of your check, inorder to distinguish it from regular tithes or offerings.  Online giving is also available on our website:  redemptionchurchkc.com.   2017 tithes and gifts must be in by December 31st, to be included on your 2017 Giving Statements.

strengthening families program to begin

The next session of Strengthening Families begins January 23rd on Tuesday evenings.  If you are interested in helping in any way (childcare, meal preparation,  or table host), contact Mandy at mandy@redemptionchurchkc.com. 
The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a prevention program for parents and children ages 5-16 in higher risk families. SFP consists of parenting skills, life skills, and family skills training courses taught together in fourteen 2-hour group sessions. The class is preceded by a meal which gives families a chance to eat and connect with each other and a "table host" or family from our church.
