Please bring BAGS OF RICE to church on Sundays during the month of August! Donations will go to the Olathe Community Food Pantry. Cash donations are also accepted and appreciated. They will go to purchase additional BAGS OF RICE. Thanks to all who are making a difference in the lives of families in Olathe!

Redemption Church is committed to spreading compassion and justice in our community and around the world without an agenda other than to simply love people. We continue to create strategic partnerships with local and global ministries which seek to do nothing more than to spread Jesus’ love, compassion, and hope to people who are on the fringes of society. As we do this we find that often times we are changed and impacted more than those to whom we seek to offer our friendship. We also find that the more we give of our time, talents, money, and especially our friendship and love, the more we loosen the grip that materialism has upon our own lives.

In the summer of 2008, the Compassion Ministry challenged each of our community groups to adopt a ministry of their own to support through love and service. We are witnessing God at work as He draws us together in community and teaches us to give our lives away as we discover the many needs in our community.

Redemption Church is also partnered with the following amazing ministries. Our short range goal is to continue to build these partnerships, invest in people outside our usual social sphere, and care for the whole person through the love of Jesus Christ. Long term, we are committed to continuing to support these ministries while we take some of the lessons we have learned and put them to work in our community and around the world. We desire to do our part to fulfill the mission of God…to set the world to rights by loving our neighbors as ourselves.
