Community Groups.

Life is a journey…share the road!

We have a saying at Redemption Church: “anything worth doing is worth doing in community.” This reflects our belief that individualistic discipleship in general doesn’t work that well. Community groups are simply groups of 6-12 people who band together to learn more about the kingdom, what it means to follow the teachings of Jesus, and for spiritual friendship and conversation. The mission of community groups is to help lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Community groups seek to provide predictable group environments where participants can experience spiritual growth and community.

Our hope is that every person who attends Redemption will participate in some sort of community group for at least part of every year. For this reason, we seek to make it as easy as possible for people to connect with a community group. Our leaders are well trained in how to lead groups which are not intimidating but engaging. We value conversation, cultivate friendships, and promote participation so that everyone can share the road on their spiritual journey with a few friends.
